Chris Robinson (Christopher Paul Robinson) is an Australian guitarist and composer known for his ability in numerous musical styles and genres across the globe. Residing in the California, USA since 2004, his work as a performing artist and on occasion as a music educator takes him throughout the United States, Eurasia and Australia.

Performing on acoustic and electric instruments, Chris has worked in settings as sensitive as acoustic duets with American veteran jazz double bassist David Friesen, cross-over projects such as 2003 Eurovision winners Sertab Erener and Demir Demirkan's 'Painted on Water' band (with percussionist Trilok Gurtu, pianist Alan Pasqua, bassist Kai Eckhardt among other jazz, rock and cross-over artists) Greek-born, Turkey-based Buzuki Orhan Osman's Turkophony project (again with bassist Kai Eckhardt, drummer Sean Rickman and some of Turkey's finest traditional musicians) and some demanding and high energy progressive outfits such as keyboard/violin innovator Eddie Jobson's U-Z project with touch-guitarist Trey Gunn (King Crimson) and drummer Simon Phillips (TOTO) dueling parts with drummer Marco Minnemann.

Chris's focus on diversity in music has led to countless other collaboration's with jazz and rock musicians, Indian classical musicians as well as performers from numerous ethnic traditions and backgrounds.
